Press Club supported doctors on the front line

On Wednesday 8th April 2020, 400 lunch boxes of Press Club and 400 bottles of Alba natural mineral water were delivered to the doctors of the National Hospital of Tropical Diseases in Hanoi, in an effort to join hands and heart with the whole country to fight against coronavirus.

“From the early days of this pandemic, the Government has made every effort to control and prevent the spread of this untreated virus”, said the Press Club’s representative. “More than anyone else, the medical team has to face daily difficulties, hardships and dangers to care for patients and protect the community. We are only a small business operating in Vietnam, but we really want to contribute our part to slow down the spread of coronavirus together with the Government and the medical team. Hopefully our simple lunch boxes will help the doctors of the National Hospital of Tropical Diseases in Hanoi have more energy in these cold rainy days”.

Press Club has been a familiar address for culinary lovers in Hanoi for more than two decades. Located in the heart of Hanoi’s French quarter, Press Club is proud to have La Table du Chef and La Plume Bar & Lounge. Right from the beginning of the fight against coronavirus, Press Club has seriously respected the hygiene and safety regulations issued by the Ministry of Health in order to minimize the spread of coronavirus in the community. From 26th March 2020, in response to the call of Hanoi’s People Committee, Press Club has temporarily closed its restaurant and bar but launched its home delivery service instead to bring culinary pleasures to its guests’ home.
