HANOI 1,000 YEAR CELBRATION MENU AT THE PRESS CLUB

As Hanoi prepares to welcome visitors from all over the world to celebrate its 1,000 year anniversary, so does the Press Club prepare it's kitchen by diving into an ancient recipe book and offering up some of the most traditional Vietnamese and Hanoi dishes. Staples of Vietnamese cuisine like Bun Cha and Green Papaya Salad appear on the list, but foodies and historians will take delight in items like Eel Soup and Cha Ca, as well as Marinated Grilled Beef Steak. Items are prepared in a traditional style so as to recapture the spirit of the dish and the pure satisfaction such cuisine can offer. The menu is designed for parties of four or more people and is only available by reservation. At just VND 688.000++ per person, the menu is generous in both variety and size. It's the perfect opportunity to enjoy some of the best Vietnamese dishes and reflect on the past, knowing Hanoians were enjoying some of the same tastes over the last 1,000 years.
